It is based on the Motorola 68040 processor and features a number of on-board peripherals, including Ethernet, SCSI, serial, and parallel ports. The board also includes two PCMCIA slots for expansion.
• The MVME2100 was designed for use in industrial and embedded applications, and was often used in automation, control, and monitoring systems. The board supports a variety of operating systems, including VxWorks, Linux, and QNX.
• The board measures approximately 8.5 inches by 9.5 inches and features a 96-pin P0 connector for expansion. The board also includes a battery-backed real-time clock and support for up to 64 MB of SDRAM.
